Medical Centre has the largest CCU and Post-CCU in Chittagong. The unit is run by highly skilled & senior Cardiologist.
Patients requiring Coronary care usually require support for hemodynamic instability(hypertension/hypotension), airway or respiratory compromise (such as ventilator support), acute renal failure, potentially lethal cardiac dysrhythmias, and frequently the cumulative effects of multiple organ system failures. This hospital offers you a full range of Coronary care units to manage all kinds of critically ill patients. Fourteen beds have been dedicated to this purpose and all are equipped with state-of-the-art instruments and gadgets for cardio-respiratory monitoring and resuscitation. In addition to all beds being equipped with its own bedside monitor attached to the central monitor.

Dr. Dhar worked as senior Consultant & Assistant Professor of Cardiology under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh at different Govt, Medical Colleges & Hospitals. Started his Career in Cardiology as Assistant Registrar in NICVD, Dhaka from Feb. 1989. Born in Chittagong in 1953, he was graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1978 & took his Diploma in Cardiology in 1988 from Dhaka University. Went into extensive training in Medicine & Cardiology at DMCH, CMCH, NICVD, Dhaka with the guidance of renound professors of the Country. Attended many “National & International Conferences on Cardiovascular Diseases at home and abroad. And several times he was a speaker of International Conference on Cardiovascular Diseases organized by Bangladesh Cardiac Society He Contributed Bangladesh Heart Journals and Journals of CMTCA by publishing several basic Articles on his own accord. He is a Life Member of Bangladesh Cardiac Society.
